The Big Loop, Day 29: More St Louis Fun (9 images)

First stop today was at Grant's Farm, former home of U.S. Grant. Very informative. Right next door are stables where Anheuser Busch keeps a lot of those incredible, iconic Clydesdales.

Then we went to watch a few matches of a masters racquetball tournament. This was fun for two reasons: First, my sister and I used to play competitive racquetball (together and separately)... many decades ago. Second, one of the players we met and watched was Marty Hogan, who dominated professional racquetball back in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. He was THE MAN when I was coming up through the ranks. A sports hero back then. An approachable, nice guy today. And he still has great skills.
