The Big Loop, Day 34: Captives (15 images)

Midday is not the best time to visit the zoo. But that's what I did yesterday when I stopped by the (huge) St. Louis Zoo. Yes, I encountered some sleeping disappointments, but it was still an enjoyable afternoon. I of course had to shoot mainly through cages, so forgive that distraction. Here are some of the better zoo images (mostly birds).
