The Big Loop, Day 42: U.S. National Arboretum (21 images)

Like any garden, the National Arboretum (on the outskirts of Washington, D.C.) changes dramatically with each passing week as new blossoms open and older ones fade away. So you will always only get images of what is in bloom NOW. For my brothers and me on our brief visit, it was mainly azaleas, dogwoods and a few cherry blossoms. with a few others here and there.

So I am dedicating this beautiful gallery to all of my friends and family who have been struggling through and extra-long, snowy winter. Hang tough gang - Spring is on its way!
