Saturday we went out exploring on our own and found some gorgeous stuff! We took the Kolob Terrace road all the way to Kolob reservoir. Our first stop was a hike along the Wildcat Canyon trailhead.
After a bite of lunch, we continued up to Lava Point Overlook (spectacular). It was on that stop that we saw two amazing things: 1) Spawning Koi at almost 8000 feet elevation!, and 2) a California Condor and a Bald Eagle buzzing each other in the sky.
Finally, we continued on up to Kolob reservoir for some exciting sightings. ANOTHER great day!
