Yoho NP - Emerald Lake (25 images)

Lake Louise, in Banff NP gets FLOODED with tourists. Too many. So I found a terrific destination not too far away much more to my liking. These images are from my visit to Emerald Lake and Hamilton Waterfall. On the short hike to the modest waterfall, I encountered only about ten hikers. MUCH quieter, MUCH more peaceful. And the lake is truly spectacular.
