Taos Pueblo

This April, three fraternity brothers and I visited the Taos Pueblo, in New Mexico. It's a truly beautiful, fascinating place. It is the oldest continuously inhabited community in the U.S.A. and is nearly 1000 years old. No running water, no electricity, built entirely by adobe and timbers for the roofs. The community has survived attacks by Mexico and by the U.S. Army. Many of the people who live there operate shops, selling products including jewelry, pottery, drums, and food. We were there on a chilly, but beautiful day that was showing off those spectacular New Mexico skies.
