Loop 2024, Day 8: Native Dancing & Indian Relay

 On my way in to the rodeo arena today, I stopped for a few minutes to watch a very entertaining, very colorful powwow of sorts. I wish I had more time to see the whole event! Dancers were from tribes including: Yakima, Colville, Spokane, Nez Perce, Coeur d'Alene, Shoshone, Bannock, Warm Springs, Paiute, and Rock Creek.

I was also able to see the finals of the Indian Relays, my favorite event. As usual, it featured frantic action and a tight, exciting finish!
