That's what a hot air balloon evening glow reminds me of: colorful, giant luminarias (lanterns), lit from within, bathing everything with their glow. This gallery is a bookend to the previous one, a large group of morning launch images.

The pilots don't fly at night. They just entertain the attendees with the sights (and sounds) of the huge balloons. They are a big hit with the kids (of any age).
