The Zion in Winter (15 images)

Last night, snow arrived at Zion National Park. So this morning I bundled up and rushed back to the park first thing to try to capture how a cap of snowfall adds a whole other gorgeous dimension to the landscapes. The skies were still ominous with some patches of blue beginning to appear.

Part of the park was still closed to traffic while crews worked hard to clear the roads. But what I got to see was "lifetime great". I'll definitely be watching the weather forecast closely for the next snow fall!
