World Refugee Day (45 images)

I love attending the annual World Refugee Day celebration. The colors, the music, the dancing, the singing, the costumes, the food, the energy, the joy, and most of all THE PEOPLE! I so respect those folks who had to leave their homeland just to survive. Then to come to a foreign place and not know the language, the laws, the culture, and so much more. And they just want to provide for themselves and their families. I learned so much from the refugee co-workers and customers during my time at Workforce Services.
