SW Utah -Hello Old Friend (14 images)

It's nice to be back in Southern Utah for an extended time. I lived in St. George for three years in the mid-90s and came to love the Greater Zion region. 

Since then, I have of course come back again numerous times for short visits. But on this trip I'll spend four months reconnecting and exploring.

Population here has mushroomed and continues to do so. I fear there won't be enough water to sustain it all.

But I'm just a visitor here, not a permanent resident. So I'll focus on enjoying the spectacular vista's and abundant avian species, then move on.
