Late Summer Flowers: Round Two

Well, I went back this morning to the Conservation Garden Park, this time with my camera. I had another very pleasant stroll through the spaces, making these 22 images along the way. My disclaimer is that this is really not the peak season for blossoms, so be understanding!

I got shut out of any good bird photos, though I did happily did get buzzed by hummingbirds a couple of times. And I spotted a few Monarch Butterflies, but they were too far away and too active for me to capture. I've loved Monarchs since my youth. I just learned that their population has declined by about 97% since 1980 - man, I hope we can save them! PLANT MILKWEED!!

I may take a break from those gardens until spring, but I'll be back!
