Enjoy It While It Lasts

Yesterday, a friend and I went out to the Farmington Bay area hoping to get some nice sunset photos. The sky was completely cloudless, so that didn't work out. But strolling around that rural farmland landscape was very relaxing. 

The only downside is that it is directly in the path of the Legacy Parkway extension project. Soon, the farmland, barns, silos horses, farmers and the rest will be replaced by a highway and speeding cars. Necessary, I guess so. But it is sad. So if you like peace and solitude, take a trip out there SOON, before it disappears!
