World Refugee Day, 1 of 2

I love attending this celebration each year. It's always a fun day in the park. But it's a lot more than that. It's a reminder of the melting pot that is this country. It celebrates diversity. It offers food, entertainment, games, products, and more. This first gallery includes a bunch of photos of the folks who were just going through the naturalization pledge to become new citizens. It is very moving. They are so proud and happy to become U.S. citizens! The gallery also includes some detail from the event.
