Falconry in Utah

On Saturday, I attended a very good presentation by Krista Hong Edwards, from the Utah Falconers Association. It was held at the Farmington Bay Wildlife Management Area as part of the annual Great Salt Lake Bird Festival. Members don't fly their birds in the summer, as they are molting new feathers. But I very much look forward to joining them this fall when they do start taking their magnificent birds hunting.

By the way, falconers can use almost any raptor for "falconry".
