Coral Pink Sand Dunes

I had forgotten how incredibly soft this sand is! Much finer and softer than beach sand.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, northwest of Kanab and southeast of Zion National Park, is so peaceful, so unusual. I have been there a handful of times. I just had to take an evening drive out to see it again. Tonight, my eye was drawn more to the detail than the vistas. To the texture, shapes, rhythm, patterns, color...

And my toes were drawn to the sand! Mmmmmm.
