Backyard Birds

I have not been traveling recently. So I am (literally) focusing my photography on subjects much closer to home. Like my back patio! I have hung a bird feeding tube there that has been pretty popular with House Finches. This morning, I also put out some cut up grapefruit, topped with sunflower seeds. Then the finches and a Dark-eyed Junco dined there in quick visits. 

Now I'm hoping to see more species. And remember, your old fruit is not for the garbage can, it's for the birds!
